Lip Balm Question

I've seen a lot of recipes for lip balm that has beeswax. I was wondering if I can replace the beeswax with paraffin wax. Any insight here?

I would personally stick with beeswax, it adds a great honey smell. If you do chose to use paraffin, make sure it is food grade and not candle wax. Here is a link with some info:

I use carnauba wax and candelilla wax, no beeswax.
