Layering Colors

When I layer a color/colors, do I need to do anything, other than do the layering? I just made soap with one layer & it turned-out really nice. How about 2 layers of colors?

layering soap is only limited by your imagination. Try different things, and maybe you'll invent a new technique to be named after you!

Okay, well, wasn't looking for having name recognition but I'll probably be doing a lot more layering. It's fun!
