Lavender Luxury Bar

This is a very plain jane soap bar. I infused my alkanet root with the OO for the recipe. I do like how the colorant turned out. I used the FO Lavender Luxury.

Wow..the more I see natural colourants in people's soap...the more I think I will have to try them. Great colour

I love the dark middle with just the touch of purple around the edges. Very pretty!

The lighter outer edge shows up more in the photo than in real life....lol! I forced this soap to gel as well, wrapped it up snug as a bug in a thick towel and wrapped that with my Winter coat. I peeked at it during the night and it was really warm and I was ecstatic because I knew it was gonna be a nice dark purple. My non gelled cupcake tops done with the alkanet root were more of a steel gray.

Very pretty! I am aiming to get one or two varieties of 'Lavender' Soaps done this week. One with the alkanet and another with a different purple color combo. Hope they turn out as lovely as yours
