I have been thinking about a laundry soap, and was wondering if a pure coconut oil soap would be ok. Should I add any other oils? Any suggestions?

The last batch of laundry soap I made was 100% CO w/0% SF. I make mine as a very thick liquid, not bars and it works great.
I don't know how many blenders could make a good enough seal for that! I don't think I want to try to find out with mine, afraid I'd never get it to fit again, but I'd be interested in hearing from others taking a chance like that, because it'd have a lot of applications if it works.I made this yesterday. It is really easy to make and the trick of putting your mason jar on the blender is absolutely amazing! http://www.budget101.com/myo-household-items/whipped-cream-super-laundry-soap-3993.html
Personally, i would run from anything with fels naptha in it, but OMG the blender fitting on a mason jar!? Holy Bleep, what an idea!!!!
Why?
Because it 'used to' contain petrochemicals and i dont really trust that it still doesnt.
here is the ewg write up on it: http://www.ewg.org/guides/cleaners/441-FelsNapthaHeavyDutyLaundryBarSoap
Good to know! I think it would be ok for clothes washing but it would be nice to find a substitute for that ingredient.
The jar idea has changed my whole life. Today I made two salad dressings and stored them in the fridge right in the jar I made them in! It's the little things....... .

I like that there is no cure time and the wash smells lovely.
My girlfriend and I made this tonite!! We are in the cooling off process... 2 more hours and it's blender time!!
