Sadly she is having surgery again. Infection has eaten through one of the patches and the money to keep her going is quickly running out. She had surgery again last month and the miserable insurance dumped an $85k bill because her doctor said she could not go through chemo before removing lymph nodes. We are at our wits end and she is about to give up. :-(
Without a good friend of hers helping out financially too we would have lost her by now. Her friend has put out over $80k, which is unbelievable, and is helping us with this next surgery. We are just praying insurance does not dump this upcoming bill. We just cannot get her well.
