Just want to say hello

My name is Jim and I live in Southern CA. I am 43 yr old father of twin 4yr old girls. I stumbled on soap making a few weeks ago while making crafts with my girls. We made some simple melt and pour soap. We molded it in tupperware. They loved it!!!
I started reading more about this craft and I am anxious to get started. I guess what appeals to me is the cross of creativity and science. Anyway, I would like to thank you all in advance and I look forward to sharing my experiences with you.
