This month I used an EO blend from eocalc called Juicy. It’s primarily grapefruit with orange, lime, lemon and litsea cubeba. The fragrance is definitely Juicy. The base color is BB Fired Up Fushia and shreads are from some older bars of soap pictured below.

The confetti for this soap was made from leftover square embeds from the plaid soap I made for the October challenge (picture of those scraps is last). I used a vegetable peeler to make big pieces of confetti. This soap is scented with equal parts Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Rosemary, Lemongrass and Cedarwood essential oils.

I made a confetti-free 3-color hanger swirl in the bottom of the mold with Moroccan red clay, activated charcoal and French pink clay. My batter thickened a lot faster than I was ready for, but I managed to drag the hanger through and then bang most of the air bubbles out. I let the swirl set up while I made the confetti portion.

The base soap for the confetti is colored with French pink clay. I brought the batter to light trace and hand-stirred the confetti in at 30%. Again, the batter accelerated on me, but I crammed the confetti mixture on top of the swirl, banged the tar out of it and gelled the soap.

My go to goat milk recipe. I used shreds, curls, rolls, and chunks. The pieces were from soap trimmings and scraps of kaleidoscope soaps. I really wanted the rolls to be like “dots” and they sort of are, but the down side was the rolls were so tight that batter did not get in them. An unexpected result. 2nd pic, scraps from these 2 soaps, 3rd pic a close up of unfilled rolls. And of course the color was supposed to be a fuchsia and dark teal 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️😆

I have been liking light gray with dark gray lately. I used AC for the colorant. The scent is a combo of Orange Blossom and Library, both from Candle Science. I took an existing gray-on-gray bar and made three different sizes of confetti. I lightly colored my new batter with AC. The cut was a little rough-- I think the confetti was a little harder than I expected and interfered with cutting.

The confetti in this soap is from my first attempt at this challenge which was pinks and white, a bar of a tall and skinny shimmy that didn't really shimmy and a pull through both had pink, orange, yellow and white. I did split off a little of the new batter and colored it orange, yellow and pink with a little white and poured using an in-the-pot swirl. The fragrances in the confetti are Peony Petals from Sweet Cakes, White Tea and Ginger from Fragrance Buddy and Volcano from WSP. I used Micas & More Burst of Energy for the new batter, which is (maybe thankfully) all I can smell at the moment. So, while I used up a fair amount of scraps in my endeavors, I also created more soap destined for the grater 😂 Thanks @Vicki C for the fun challenge!

Here we go - I went the way of large chunks of confetti. Here is the batch where the scraps came from.

The purple color is Heliotrope from Mad Micas, and it’s scented with Star Showers from Nurture.View attachment 77692-IMG-6915.jpeg

ETA: I'm really sorry but I can't get the picture to just show in this post. Super annoying. Sorry for the extra click - maybe the mods can fix it. :(

No sorry, can't change the uploading of photos, not the capacity to do that.

My soap for this months challenge is made with my normal GMS recipe, and the confetti is a hodge-podge of edge shavings from soaps made over the last few months. I didn’t have enough for a second try because I made 2 batches of ciaglia near the end of last year. I gave the shavings a rough chop so they were assorted sizes. This is the first time I’ve used colloidal oats, and I blended them into the oils for the whole batch. I divided the batter into thirds, with the top and bottom both being 500g of batter with 59g confetti. I put the FO (BB Oatmeal Milk & Honey) into only the top and bottom that has the confetti - it’s supposed to discolor to brown but no signs of it yet and it’s been a week. No colorants besides what was in the shreds. I think it looks like a 2 layer funfetti cake with pastry cream in the middle - yum!
Thank you and great challenge, @Vicki C 🌸

20250125_151457.jpgMy challenge soap is made from lots of chopped up embeds and old scraps I've been saving. I'm trying to use up all my scraps with almond oil because I have a couple cousins allergic to almonds. I had to stay in my craft room yesterday and figured I may as well make the challenge soap.
Back ground 2/3rds is spacewalk by mm and 1/3rd celestial silver by Nurture Handmade. There are oil & glitter/Mica drizzles with Cheshire cat Mica, fuchsia, gold dust & black onyx enviroglityers. With a little gold dust sprinkled on top.20250125_123604.jpg
After removing the dividers I used a narrow craft stick to mix the colors side to side. Chunks moved too, it was rather hard pushing the stick through, but I expected it would be. It reminds me of the pictures of the rocket that exploded a few weeks ago.
Thanks for helping me use up scraps!
Great challenge @Vicki C !!
