Oh - so my other soap I made on 5th Jan will be fine to enter the challenge then. And I've just made another batch of (completely different) confetti soap. I'll have to decide which one looks the best to enter into the challenge...
That's how I read it. At least half of the soap should have confetti in it. There is no rule that says how much confetti should be in it, just that it should be visible in at least half the bar.My read is your soap qualifies because it's a 100% confetti soap. Even if it's only 10% confetti in the soap.
Did I get that right?
Your soap is perfect - @justsomeguy has it right. Now I don't even know if I qualified. I didn't measure my confetti at all, either before adding it, or visually after I cut...
That's really pretty, to bad it's not 50%.Here is my non-entry. I wanted a black and white soap but should have added more black. I also realized afterwards that I didn't math correctly and my black/confetti part is not quite 50%. It's scented with black raspberry vanilla and I love it!

Your entry is pretty, I glanced at it and thought of gold fish and minnows... Is it really orange or just my phone showing it orange?
No orange. The middle layer has purple and red confetti in it. It might be the lighting though. The window I use for my lighting is frosted and likes to throw off rainbows in the room.Your entry is pretty, I glanced at it and thought of gold fish and minnows... It's beautiful! So here's my non-entry soap. I actually prefer it to my entry soap, but I like high contrast and in-yer-face colours and I know that most people don't, so I entered the pretty one instead.
I needed some more Black Raspberry Vanilla for stock anyway, so here it is:View attachment 80868
Both your soaps are gorgeous! When I grow up, I want to be able to soap like you! (And a whole lot of other people on SMF!)So here's my non-entry soap. I make what I like, not what I think other people will like just for votes for a challengeI like high contrast and in-yer-face colours and I know that most people don't, so I entered the pretty one instead.

Me too. I like both my soaps, but I had to make a decision on which to enter. And it was the Pink Peony that I made first, so I decided to run with that one. I only made the black one because I thought the previous one hadn’t met the rules, but I was wrong.I make what I like, not what I think other people will like just for votes for a challenge
