OK, so tonight was a soaping night and I got too busy dancing to pay attention to what I was doing on my second batch!
When I poured it into the mold, I vaguely noticed that it didn't look like enough soap but I put it away and started on my third batch. BUT when I started to measure my soft oils, I realized that all of them from the prior batch were still sitting there!!! DUH!!
So I glopped the (thick pudding consistency) soap from the mold back into the mixing pot, added the missing oils and stick blended for a minute, then poured into a new mold.
I'm thinking that it should be fine, but just wanted to run it by you guys since this is a first for me! Should I be concerned (about the soap...I have serious concerns about my attention span tonight)?

If you stick blended them in completely, it should be fine. Watch for separation though.

P.S. I tend to dance while making soap, also ;)

Thanks, Genny!
I cut it tonight and it looks uniform and no zap. It is a good bit softer than normal, but I guess that's to be expected. Hopefully it'll firm up during cure.
Yep, always gotta have tunes while making soap, but we went to a show last week and I was dancing along to that guy's music and just got lost....:)

I wish I could listen to tunes while I soaped... wait, I guess I could. I have an ipod and ear buds... Hmmm... I got a new computer and for some reason I can get a headset to work on it but not speakers, and I don't own a stereo. I do have the ipod and docking station, but I am not sure I could find room in the kitchen for it.

Badger, I MADE room in the kitchen for my old Bose docking station! It doesn't charge my iphone, but does sound sweet!!
I'm much happier with some of my "kitchen clutter" tucked away under the counter (alas poor Toaster, I knew ye well) since I use the dock pretty much all the time now. :)

I would have to move the dock back and forth from bedroom to kitchen. I can't get to sleep without my music, but that is solvable also. Making room in our tiny kitchen with the way our apartment is... that is more questionable :)
