It's pink!

I wasn't expecting this! I've used this scent (WSP Crazy Caramel Corn) in HP and it was, as expected, a medium brown. This time, in CP (same recipe), pink!

I did soap ball embeds too, can't wait to cut this tomorrow. But wow, the pink!

I have NO idea what this soap is going to do LOL None of the reviews on WSP say anything about it. I prevented gel as best I could. Will be fun to watch this one!

Pink on top, tan in the middle, with a darker strip on the bottom. I was hoping for all pink but oh well! I unmolded too soon as usual, need to wait to cut the rest (just cut one end off) and clean them up. Hopefully they turn out alright, these are supposed to be the soaps the kids at my wedding get lol

Oh, I LOVE this scent. It smells like movie theater popcorn.

Man. I was really hoping that pink would stay for you. I loved that shade. I like the white "eyes," though. Reminds me of a little owl. I've got another loaf with soap ball embedded in the mold right now. I have a feeling this will be my new kick for a while. Will you do them again?

I am already dreaming of the next few embed batches! LOL I will have a good bit from this batch (the ends, and probably the bottoms of the bars, they're too tall to fit into the soap boxes I bought) to turn into something to stick into a future batch. I got an order from Bramble Berry today with another one coming tomorrow (FOs mostly), so after the wedding soaps are made - one more batch - I'll get back to having fun with this.

The pink is just about completely gone, looks like it will be the tan color I was expecting. Oh well!

What a bummer! And what a fake-out! I've never seen an FO give that kind of bright color before and then go brown. I feel for you. But you know, kids may like the smell and the "eyes" and not care that it's tan!
