Hello everyone,

I thought I would finally introduce myself. I have been a lurker on these forums for a while now and have found it to be one of my favorite resources. THANK YOU! I must admit I am fairly shy when it comes to message boards, but there have been many times I have wanted to chime in on a conversation or show off a new batch. So, here I am. Tada!

I've been soaping for about a year. My children inspired me to tailor something more gentle for their skin. I have a 12 year old who is suffering from the pre-teen plague, so I have been trying to formulate a soap for her oily skin that she likes. (many formulas that work, but she really really really hates the neem oil haha) I also have 6 year old boy/girl twins. My girl half has a mild eczema, her skin loves goats milk soaps to help with her itchies. My boy half is just... a boy.. so if anyone has a recipe to make him less onry, I am open to suggestions.

Since I havn't been soaping for a long time, I still tend to split my batches by pouring half as CP, then HPing the other half. I figure eventually I'll know which I like best. I just finished bottling my first batch of liquid soap last night. BOY I had no idea what I was getting into. My small little batch ended up HUGE! Next stop.... cream soaps... I hope to find someone here whos brain I can pick on this one!

I also have what my mother in law calls "Craft ADD". I scrapbook, I quilt, I crochet, I paint, I do glass art, I do candles, I do sculpting, I do gardening (well, it SHOULD count as an art), I do mixed media, and once a year in October, I do costume design and sewing.

So this is me in a nutshell, I cant wait to get to know more of you.

Jaime
