Here's another place that offers insurance. I just hadn't seen it before so I wanted to post it for anyone looking.

It's $100 a year for membership and insurance starts at $235...they offer different levels.

So there is this place, RLI and Soapmakers Guild.

Hmmmm so they are a bit cheaper than HSMG. I wonder if the price will go up.

Got a reply:

"It is my understanding that anyone can receive insurance during this transition – the price will remain the same as it is right now, I have not heard of any increases.

If you choose to go with the insurance offered through AAB currently and are a member or wish to join HSMG then you will be able to fill out the insurance exempt form from the HSMG so you do not have two policies."

So it sort of sounds like we can get the rates they have published as a current memeber but will also have to purchsae HMSG membership on top of that at some point.

It isn't allowing new membership as it redirects you to the merger post.

I got a scholarship membership when they first started about 2 years ago. Great organization, lots of helpful information.
