I started with a pomace oil infusion of chamomile and calendula. Sometimes I'll do a cold infusion, but I don't have any herbs steeping right now so I did a crockpot infusion. When you strain out this particular herb mix from the oil, I swear it smells like honey! I love it. I love doing infusions, but it's another super messy step in a series of messy steps...
I used the infusion, coconut oil, cocoa butter, and castor for this, and a fragrance mix that I can't fully divulge, but the main scent used is honeysuckle.
I did this soap last Christmas, and it was my absolute favorite. I really wanted to hoard it all, but I gave all but two bars away for Christmas, so I knew I would have to make it again. So glad I did!
