I'm spreading the joy of M&P with others!

I shared a week+ vacation with my sisters (and nieces, S-I-L's, So's, etc.) in August. They helped me test some of my cold process soaps and they gave me alot of really helpful feedback.
One afternoon, I did a mini melt & pour workshop for them. We all had a great time and we photographed everyone's final soaps. I had sent some CP soap for my sister's godson's Mom.
Her godson, who is 11, was so intrigued by the soap, that she showed him the photo of the soaps they made in August. He is apparently, a really creative kid and asked if he could make some soap, too.
I'm going join my sister (her family and mine) for Thanksgiving in Portland. So, she asked if I could spend an afternoon soaping with her godson. I said ABSOLUTELY!! One more person to infect with the joy of soaping!
I know some say M&P isn't really soaping. I don't know if it is or isn't. But, it is such a fun experience to share with friends and family. I can't wait!!

@dibbles , yes, it really was fun. They made soap for themselves and to give as gifts. It was a memorable, and bonding experience with 3 generations of women in my family.

Great soaps! I love doing melt and pour with kids! You get to do a bunch of lovely creative stuff and end up with soap you can use that night at bath time, without the risks associated with lye or the wait time needed when making soap from scratch.

We often use it for messy church sessions when we can think of a way to tie it in to the theme of the month. Most recently we made a loaf of rainbow soap to go with the Noah's ark story. The kids loved it, especially the ones who got to sprinkle the glitter between layers...
