I'm so upset...

Just had my money box stolen from the farmers market I did today, luckily it was not a good market for sales but unluckily I also had yesterdays takings in the box! Im going to have to work very, very hard to get the loss back, Im soooo fed up. My daughter and I just cant work out how it happened, they must have been watching us all morning. A lesson learned, DONT be too trusting, ALWAYS watch and I am going to make both of us body pouches to keep money in!! :cry:

Thanks Rosey, Im still crying right now....... Ill get over it Im sure. A real good lesson learned, cash up after every market, dont leave it and be lazy because you have one after the other.... I hope the thief chokes on their extra booze tonight!!! Sorry, probably should not have said that :twisted:

Wow, some people really do suck! I'm so sorry.

I've always been very paranoid about this happening to me. So I went to a restaurant supply store and got one of those small waist aprons with the pockets. I think it only cost me $3.

I just put my sales book, pen and all my cash in the three pockets across the front. I leave just the coin in my money box. That way if it gets stolen they only end up with about $7 worth of coin

I hope your next market is mega prosperous for you. And I hope that karma kicks the thief in the butt.

Boy did I ever work hard for that money!! Oh well, at least my grandaughter is due on Wednesday and Aimee, my daughter, was with me today and is looking lovely and very healthy, we have to be grateful for some things I supose? Life is all about learning :roll:

I'm sorry for your experience. Who would have thought that at a Farmers Market you had to keep everything under lock and key? Unfortunately these are hard economic times and some folks will do anything to get their hands on some cash - pretty sad and pathetic if you ask me. You're best bet is to buy yourself a fanny pack and just keep the money on your person that way no one can steal it again.
