I think he thinks I'm spending too much time on the SMF!

LOL" You will not be using your laptop tonight , young lady if I have any say in it "

I get the "wouldn't you much rather have me on your lap look" when I pull out the laptop .Cats are so funny.

This is Steve, he's my little muffin! He was my xmas present of '07 and it was love at first sight!

He is VERY cheeky though! If you lean over to get something, you all of a sudden have a cat on your back. If you take chicken out of the freezer, he somehow smells it from the other side of the house with about .01 seconds... you also can't defrost chicken in the sink because he opens the package and steals it! When I leave half-full cups of tea around he likes to dip his paw into them and lick the tea off his paw.

He's a lovable gremlin!

He's also in a gay relationship with one of our other cats "Fritz"

(sorry, if I get annoying with the pix)

In case any one cares, click the pic below to see a quick video.

He is so much like my Percy, my DD came over and said "when did you get that pic of Percy"!!
My percy likes to steal defrosting meat also, I have to leave things in the microwave if I want to defrost anything. Otherwise they go missing and I think I've lost my marbles and forgotten to take anything out for dinner!!
Your cat is the same age as mine, we got Perc in 07 also!! Maybe they are dopplegangers??

Maybe since we're in separate hemispheres they're like 2 halves of a whole.... lol, we have to hide our meat- things in the microwave too!!!

 Ramses stole a whole frozen Christmas turkey out of the sink lat year
Boris always hates it when I read the paper or magazines (books are ok) and allways lies on top of them  He sleeps next top me on my desk, so he doesn't mind me sitting behind my pc

He's clearly reading MY post too! LOL!! I am also having a sick Martha Stewart Moment because I am drooling over your countertop. I didn't know we could embed video! (kinda). Totally cute cats. We dont have cats because my son is allergic and my husband says they lick the butter...lmao.

LOL, I was hoping you'd see it LJA! You got to make a cameo!

I just wish my kitchen was clean when I took the pic, but beggars can't be choosers, I had to snap him before he left.

I kept calling him so he'd look up after I took this pic but he ended up getting up and walking TO me. Darn!

I use photobucket to host pix and you can upload videos there too, I just tried some trial and error and thus VIDEO! I wish it looked prettier in the post, but once again... beggars can't be choosers.

No way! We have 3 cats, two boys and a girl. All our cats are spayed/neutered, so imagine my surprise a few years ago when I walked in on my two boys bumping uglies. They did it a few times over the course of a couple of weeks (that we saw) and then seem to have stopped, but they still spend quite a bit of time together and both will make the girl cat back off if she tries to worm in on their together time. I feel sorry for the poor dear.

Anyway, I had to share when you said that.

Is one of yours fluffy and the other one short haired? I only ask because I saw the same thing happen years ago and it always seems to be a fluffy cat and a short haired cat (as mine are). They also do the same thing to our girl cat.... not that she cares.

Were they really "bumping uglies?!?" Ours normally just make out hardcore, but they've been pretty gross a couple of times. I won't describe because it's not proper forum decorum.

Yes, they were really "bumping uglies". For a few weeks there it was really embarrassing to have anyone over to the house.

It all started when a female cat of ours went into heat (did you know Siamese cats can go into heat before they are old enough to be spayed? I know. Ask me how I know...). Anyway, one of the cats was interested in the female, but the other one hated her. It seems like the hormones floating around still got to him though because that's when he started, uh, acting with aggressive affection towards the other boy.

Both are longhaired and pretty fluffy, but one of them is much larger than the other. The smaller one is the, err, dominant, though.

Isn't it a "asserting dominance" thing? I know it can be with dogs... (and certain men...heh...)

Ha! I'm guessing it might dominance in some of the cases, but ours seems to have been set off by the hormones flying around from the kitten in heat. Those two male cats have bonded more than any of our others though, and both have been known to be protective of the other when a threat is perceived (normally our poor german shepard, who has never so much as licked one of our cats but is routinely chased out of the room by them), as well as grooming each other and sleeping side by side frequently. Neither of them does this with either of the other cats that has lived with them. They weren't adopted together either, and they've never lived in a house with less than 3 cats at the same time.

Maybe they're just friends with benefits?

Ours haven't "bumped uglies" (that I've seen) but ... they do "everything but..." (if you know what I mean). With them it's DEFINITELY not a dominance thing, it's more of a "we're desperately in love and we don't care what the world thinks" kind of thing.
