He decided that he wanted to help me with one of the little organizational projects I've been putting off forever. I have the empty weights in ounces and grams written on the outside of some of the containers I use for weighing out soap ingredients, but some of them are a pain to label and the writing washes right off of some of 'em. I jotted the weights down on a scrap of paper and added to it as needed, but it was sloppily handwritten and ended up getting wet on the counter one day. Sooo...I made a little chart in Excel that has the container weights all laid our neat and orderly, easy to read.
The kiddo's job was to cut down a big envelope to hold my lye MSDS and attach the weight chart to the front of it, then tape the whole thing up on the inside of a cabinet door over my work area. He did a fine job, lol, and is so proud of his handiwork:
He wanted to decorate the envelope with glitter and stickers, but I vetoed that idea.
