I just took picture of raised end to show that end is locking part in my design. No its not made from cutting board but same material as cutting boards.
HDPE is a approved material by FDA since it does not leach any chemicals it's non toxic and non porous. Pictured is 1/2" but eventually I will use various thickness depending on mold size and design.
I can buy this stuff in sheets 4'x8' and make several molds out of one sheet.
That makes each mold more affordable vs. individual buying whole sheet to make 1 or 2 molds.
