Lyn's Tops
Lyn is my hero! Ever since I saw her soaps, I had to try that with my tops. I have been sculpting for many months! I have not seen her instructions, but I do use a tongue blade to sculpt. Makes a beautiful difference! Thanks so much Lyn!!!

Han to try those fluffy tops
I had PM’d Lyn a while back asking her if she would mind giving me some hints on making those nice tops…which she did and was not the lest bit hesitant about sharing. I probably would have had some issues with asking her about that if I was in the business of selling my soap, which I am not. I just make soap for my family and friends, but here again Lyn is such a sweet lady when it comes to sharing other techniques about soap making that can be found throughout the many topics on this Forum. Hats off to her again for being as generous as she is to share her talent with us all.':wink:'

I've always admired this shape of soap, but wonder: How well does it turn in the hands, to create lather? I like smooth edges too, in terms of usefulness.....but these sure are pretty! Great job!

The fluffy top bars...
These bars (I call them fluffy tops) really aren’t that bad to use. We use them in the shower and it doesn’t take long for the fluffy top to sort of disappear after a few washes. If you just rub the soap on yourself rather that trying to lather it in hand, I think you’ll find it works pretty well. As for hand lathering, its pretty much like other bars but a bit wider. You’re probably right though Woodi, these fluffy toppers aren’t for everyone.''
