So I’m making soap to send to the Brambleberry soapswap. Have to send it out no later than tomorrow.

First attempt – tried to CPOP, it overheated.

Second attempt – started to rebatch first attempt, was going fine, but had poured it into guest molds and re-read the swap info and it said 12 bars of at least 4 ounces. Feh.

Third attempt – poured Saturday, cut Sunday, got partial gel so there’s an ugly darker oval in the middle of the bars.

I give up! Grrr. Nothing wrong with the fragrance, I don’t think – just bad luck.

Hahaha power circle - well I figure any other soapmaker will know exactly what it is when they see it, and they'll know it's ok to use :)

Genny - it was BB's Beau Brummel. Don't think it was causing the problems, just my own ineptitude and trying new formulas when I shouldn't be.

Hi there,
Oh no! That is so frustrating! My name is Kirsten and I am coordinating the Soap Swap, and I'd be happy to help you out. :)

You can totally send the guest soaps (just send two to equal up to the 4 oz.) and the ones that have gone through a partial gel phase. I totally understand not wanting to send anything that isn't entirely perfect, but I also don't want you to miss out on the fun of the swap. If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know! You can always refer back to the original blog post here--

or you can contact our customer service team for additional help. You can email them at [email protected] or give them a call at 1-877-627-7883. Hope that helps!

Aw oh now you tell me ha! It's ok, I've got my new batch boxed up and ready to mail out tomorrow :) Thank you for coming here to post, though, Kirsten!
