My first ever! I started with a small 1 pound recipe of Olive, Coconut, Palm & Castor. It fit perfectly in my quart container.. even used the soap calculator

It's possible, though it may also partially gel. You'll find out when you cut it!

It's hard to say about gel. I have found that small batch sizes gel just fine for me (usually). If you insulate it really well, and depending on how well your container insulates, I don't see why it wouldn't.

Thank you all, for being soo encouraging : )
I used green oxide for color (I figured that was my safest choice?) and a favorite FO mix of mine, I combine Green Leaf & Bamboo with Earth & Patchouli- about .7 oz. total. It smells so good in my kitchen.

I don't know if you can see from the pics, but it does look like it gelled all the way through! YAY!
