hydrolysed silk protein

I had some hydrolysed silk protein delivered today. Can someone please tell me if I should simply add it to the water phase and heat up as usual?

You can add it to your lye water AFTER it has cooled down.

Thanks Irena. What if I am making a cream/lotion, at what stage do I add it? (it came in powder form).

For lotion, cream, etc add it to your heated water phase.
