Huge pile of leaves....

So our yard has ONE tree....BUT....we seem to get the whole neighborhoods leaves in our yard. My boys and I made a HUGE pile and they made a fort in it after school today...just had to share...it's a mom thing

Yes, the leaves are piled up almost to the tops of their heads...

My sibs and I used to make huge birds nest from the leaves that fell from the tree in our front yard. It was a huge live oak (I think- some sort of oak) and seeing that picture I'm remembering the smell of the dirt and leaves and getting them in our clothes and hair. Oh and trying to shove handfuls into each other's mouths! lol :evil:

I have wonderful childhood memories of playing in large piles of leaves with my sisters! Your boys look like they're having a great time with those big ole smiles. Oh to be a kid again......how lovely!
