Hi everyone,
kind of new to soap and was just wondering how to make a mould for cold process soap making? I am from Australia and can't seem to find any online....any suggestions? Thanks!!

there is tons of molds online, just google, soap molds, i saw one online and hubby made one with wood, i love it!

yes i think i would love to join the swap. will sign up for it now. and yes, I do order off aromatics and more, up until late last year I lived just up the road from them and just picked up my oils when I wanted them.
at the end of last year we moved up north, but I usually get most of my oils from essential oils and soap anyway. I just get the coconut and palm from aromatics.

Just wanted to add..if you have an IKEA near you they sell a small chest of drawers..9 drawers to a set for $22 which work well for molds..small batches ( I get 7 x 1 and a bit " soaps each drawer) I guess around 1 kg each drawer.

If you hate lining, the discount store sells silicon mats for $5 each which I cut up and reuse for liners, works well..

Yes, I got it here in Oz. It looks like they arent doing the 9 drawer but they have the 5 and 3 drawers. Can use the larger drawers as slab moulds. They are called Fira.

I may get the slab ones, they hold up well I think. I have a 9 drawer one if anyone wants, I think I will get bigger drawers.
