I am so tempted to buy this book, it is not available in any library in the world but one in Indiana. They will not allow this book to be borrowed by any other library either (I tried).

Supposedly this is M&P base too! I also have been so tempted to try it, but have not gotten around to it yet.

i actually found that when i was researching and that recipe kind of confused me. Do you understand it? It confused me because she talked about the cut up soap, but if you dont have any soap already then what do you do?

It is quite confusing I agree. I really didn't take the time to read all of the page. My understanding of it is to have some sort of cp soap made and shave it (kindda like a rebatch) Not really sure, then add glycerin and sugar and vodka? I had the link bookmarked for quite some time. As I said before I was tempted to try it, but have not gotten around to it yet.

If you do purchase the book that was recommended, could you please write a review on it either in Amazon or on here? I am SO curious about the book, but afraid to buy it.

The soap from Kathrine Miller's site is clear glycerine soap, like Neutrogena. It's not M&P. It doesn't melt well. I made it and it never melts down all the way. I know there are people out there who make their own but I have yet to find a formula that works as well as the bases that are already out there.
