Guyz, i'm going to make one kg soap as trial. but having some i mean to say hard problem that have no idea about the exact quantity of lye, water and oil?

Another question is that can i use cooking oil instead of using coconut oil ?
Please elaborate. I want to sell it at making successful soap.
Thanks.

First you need to come up with a recipe you like based on percentages (For instance 70% Olive oil or 20% Coconut etc) Use a lye calculator (you have the link above) to figure out what you need.
I would suggest you start by watching some soap making tutorials. Soap Queen has lots of tutorials, Soapmaking 101 has lots of tutorials.
As for the cooking oil question... Cooking oil is a very broad term, one that in my opinion includes coconut oil, lol. If you're asking if you can use corn, canola, soybean oil, etc... the short answer is yes, but they need balanced with other oils to make a nice soap.

Thanks Brothers,
Today i'm going to make my first Soap with canola oil. If it good then i will upload its pic for your advice.
