How much does Sodium Citrate speed trace?

I have tried to get some handle on this. I have read it does accelerate trace but can anyone give me a gauge? Does it speed it like using a spice or floral scent or just decrease your time a moderate amount? Do people who have used it to increase lather feel it is worth it? I read SC plus BHT is good for preventing DOS do I thought some here might be fairly familiar with it.

No, I have never noticed it accelerating trace. To prevent DOS you use 0.1%, I don't know about for lather boosting.

I saw in anther thread that tested various additives that using sodium citrate at 3% seemed to hike lather quite a bit. One experienced soaper noted it in a different thread that accelerates it trace but there was no mention made at what percentage.

I use it at up to 2% - I haven't noticed any acceleration.
