Hi, I'm trying to come up with a new recipe with the oils I have on hand. What do you think of this recipe? Any ideas on how to improve it?

Coconut - 25%
Olive - 35%
Palm - 11%
Lard - 11%
Castor - 7%
Rice Bran - 6%
Shea Butter - 5%

Superfat @ 6%

Thanks.

Looks good to me if you're trying to use up random bits of oils.

If you want to simplify, you could use either lard or palm but not both. And you could sub olive oil for your small % of RBO. I have gotten lazy and find that measuring out more than 5 ingredients is a bit of a pain. But that's just me. If you don't mind measuring, this will probably be a very nice soap.

are you trying to achieve a specific kind of soap? Your coconut oil looks high to me, but I like a very mild soap, so I would lower that to under 20%. and take the extra and add it to the olive oil.

I think it looks like it will turn out good. But I'm a lot like JudyMoody and don't go past 5 ingredients either, too much measuring and adding for this lazy soaper.
