If you are selling online, how do you package your soap inside of the "shipping" package?

Suppose you are selling 4 Bars of soap. Each might have a cigar band. I would not want to drop them into a padded envelope as is....

I was thinking something like a smaller box to hold them, a jute/muslin bag, etc....

Any ideas or thoughts?

Thanks for the reply. Thats a good resource.

Here is a separate question.

What is the rule about inquiring about a members soap? I recall asking a question some time ago and was told it was better to pm the particular member. I ask because I have seen nice soaps featured on members websites and would like to ask questions about how they package them.

There isn't a rule about inquiring how people package soap. But I think it's better to start with posting a topic and asking how people package their soap. Not only may it be helpful for you, but it also might be helpful for other members. You can also use the advanced search function and use the keywords like package, packaging, wrapped, wrapping, etc to bring up previous threads.

You can also check youtube. I know that sounds odd but there are packaging videos on youtube. Soaping101 has one which you might find helpful. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMHq8sI_mhM"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMHq8sI_mhM[/ame]

When I'm shipping my soap 9 times out of 10 it is in a small cardboard shipping box.... I don't want my soap to get squished.... :?
