How do you avoid a partial gell.. It happend again :-(

Ugggg another partial gell. Tell me your secret on avoiding the partial gell.

I added sugar to this recipe and thought it might heat things up a bit. I have a wooden mold made by DH its not thick. Left it uncovered in the fridge. Took it out after a couple of hours and checked on it and noticed it was heating up. Cut it later and yep another partial gell :cry:

This would have been sooooo pretty if it hadn't gelled..
 
I use the freezer for a few hours to avoid gel. Then it goes into the fridge overnight.

Wooden molds probably encourage gel. You may try plastic rubbermaid or tupperware, etc. When I first started out that was all I used. It was almost impossible for me to get my soap to gel even when I wanted to.

Also certain FO's can encourage gel or how much honey, maybe sugar too, not sure about the sugar.
