Hi, this is my first post. I am glad to find this forum! I have done some CP soaps and right now i am trying to make HP liquid soap for the first time. I am using these webpages as guides: http://onbeingme.com/blog/2009/06/17/597 and http://candleandsoap.about.com/od/liquidsoap/ss/basicliquidsoap.htm.
So i put 203 g. Olive oil and 43 g. KOH (-12% SF) in 129 g. water in a heat-resistant glass bowl (70 Celsius or 160 Fahreneit). See photo:

After 10 min it became like this: (i considered this a trace.):

I continue stirring and after 12 min it became like this:

I left it for 4 hours. As i read in the guide it should have gone through certain "stages" but it didn't. It didn't puff up or anything like what is described in the guide. It stayed like in the last photo for the whole cooking time. After the 4 hours it changed very little and looked like this:

Why it didn't puff up? Is this normal? And why it didn't show any signs going through "stages"?
After this i added 2-3 times the weight of the soap paste water. It looks like impossible to dillute 100% in water, after 3 hours in hot water bath. If you see this photo, you will see that some soap paste on the top is undisolved:

So what is wrong with the process? Why is not dilluting and how shall i weight borax to neutralize it? I am supposed to weight borax based on the weight of the soap paste but the soap paste is not 100% dilluted.
I would love if someone could shed a light into this because i am totally confused!
P.S. I've done 70% oo, 30% co with the same results. I think it dilluted easier in the water but the whole soaping phase was the same. (no puff up, no stages, etc.). I have done the whole process 3 times now and every time i had the same results.
