I have been reading here on and off for a few weeks; lurking and seeing all the wonderful soaps. Which has made me more impatient to learn all the fun techniques... but I'm working on the basics first.

Call me over-cautious but lye scares me the more I've read... so I want to start at the bottom.
Normally I jump into things and start splashing around with abandon!

I made my third batch today... So far so good (knock on wood, spin around 3 times).

Any way, I hope to participate and not just read what everyone writes. :mrgreen:
