Hi Total Newbie here!!

Well I am glad to have found this forum! I have a ton of questions and no idea who to ask.

First off let me tell you who I am.... My name is Nikki, I am a full time wife, mom, IT Admin Assistant and avid lotions n such maker. What I am not and I am wanting to add to my list of crafting is a soap maker. I currently sell my lotions, shower gels, body sprays, room and linen sprays, lotion bars, bath salt gems, plus other around the home stuff in 2 boutiques. (with a website coming soon) I want to make hand soaps now seeing that the only 2 soaps I make are the liquid kind. (Shower Gel & Foaming Hand Soap)

I am looking forward to hearing everyone's advice and feedback as I try out this new adventure!

Welcome Nikki.

You said you have a ton of questions and no idea who to ask. We already have a lot of info here as Stickies and I've found the best way is to type in the info you require into the search engine at the top of the page, do lots of reading, take lots and lots of notes, thats what I did. Most topics have already been discussed and if you can't find what you are after then post a topic in the relevant section and you will most probably get a lot of answers to your questions. I think the first step would be to decide which type of soap you would like to make. We have recipes here you can start with to get the basics and from then on its all up to you .
