Hi from Sweden!

Hi people! I'm a relatively new soap maker and decided to join your forum, since there is absolutely nothing like this in Sweden. Even supplies are scarce there, so I'm usually drooling over foreign soap supply websites and getting heart attacks when I see their overseas shipping costs.

I have been making silver jewelry for a while (have an Etsy shop: SilverBlueberry.etsy.com) but I was looking for something cheaper (and still nice) to sell along with my jewelry at fairs etc, and it became soap! I also work as a scientist (biochemist) so I'm not unfamiliar with working with hazardous chemicals. I also don't like the tons of additives you find in mass produced bath and body products, so this is a nice additional hobby for me.

Now I'm going to read the forum..

Getting over the fear of using a hazardous material was half my battle to begin soaping! It is too bad that shipping costs are so high for you. Maybe you can split costs with a fellow soaper.
