Hello from Canberra, Australia! I'm a newbie with all of 3 batches under my belt. I've stuck with simple olive oil based recipes with only small variations at this stage as I'm trying to understand how the differences affect the finished product. But I'm busting to try some more exciting recipes! I've been reading soapmaking books for quite a few months now but it's taken me a while to get started and uninterrupted time is hard to come by (I have an eight month old bub keeping me busy). I have so much to learn and have really enjoyed perusing this forum over the past week or two - what a wealth of knowledge and experience there is here! I'm really happy to be here as I don't know anyone else who makes soap and I feel there is much to discuss and learn from others.
