Hi everyone. I am just starting out and am excited and leary of making my first batch of CP soap. I have collected a bunch of supplies (however, when I think I have enough to begin I see another oil I need) and am ready to dive in. I have searched high and low on the internet and done a ton of reading.
I guess I am a bit shy about the lye. Today is the day! I am going to give it a try! Wish me luck.
I am using what appears to be a very simple recipe and hope it comes out OK.

Vegetable Shortening
Beeswax
Avacado Oil
Lye
