Once you 'Open a Business' to sell your soap and registar a business name etc..... Can you buy supplies to make your soap from a wholesale supplier?

It's never silly to ask a question. Yes, you can buy from a wholesaler but I believe for many of them you'd have to have business/ tax ID number. Some companies may only require a vendor's license. You'd have to check with each wholesaler and see what they require for setting up wholesale accounts.

I think the main problem might be you'd have to buy bulk amounts. A wholesaler might require a minimum purchase which exceeds the amount you need or may be able to use within a reasonable period of time. Of course, you could always sell excess here by putting a post in the Members' Ad Forum. Just remember the Members' Ad rules are a minimum of 30 posts and 3 month membership before posting an ad. But I don't see that as a problem since you've almost met this rule.

Yes! Many have applications online and others you will have to call/email, but as long as you have a tax ID # and can meet minimum purchase requirements you should be able to get accounts set up.

Would anyone be willing to share the names of these wholesale manufactures/suppliers?

I don't know who the soapmaking/body products wholesale suppliers are although I do remember seeing a wholesale info link on some sites. I noticed but didn't really pay attention, kwim? You can check where you normally buy supplies and see if they offer wholesale pricing. Columbus Foods/Soaperschoice sells drums of oils. You could check with them on pricing.
