Help with peppermint EO/menthol Crystals CP

I am wanting to make a CP soap with peppermint and a touch of menthol. I have Peppermint EO and Menthol Crystals. I am just kind of looking for a starting place for the Menthol Crystals and the Peppermint EO.

I think I remember someone using the menthol up to 2% in a shave soap for a cooling effect

2% of total weight? And was it for crystals?

I think it was indeed crystals. And it would be 2% of the oil weight, so not including the water and lye

Use Pure Essential Oils

Make sure you purchase pure essential oils and not oils that are pre-diluted because if they are pre-diluted it takes much more and often will give poor results. The peppermint that NuKira offers is outstanding. It is a very potent essential oil. If you don't like it, they pick it up for free and refund you in full according to the website. I have never returned anything to them so I wouldn't know how hard it actually is but I would go that route or choose another company besides one that is on ebay personally.
