Ive been making soap for about 7 months now, steady....I make a new batch every couple of days! BUT the last 4 batches FAILED! Theres always a pool of oil, a large pool, on top of the soap. I realized yesterday I think one of my thermometers is reading wrong...and so i used the one I thought was right to check both before combining...I always combine between 100 and 105 and never had issues...But even after i thought I fixed it the bacth I was on failed....
Is there an easy way to fix this batch? should i cook it and try again..?

yep, cook it.

as for what's happening, it sounds like either you are pouring (maybe) before reaching full emulsification or the soap is overheating. probably the former. try getting it to a fuller trace before pouring.

what's your recipe? some oils are more likely to cause this issue than others.

My last 4 recipes have all been different, but I use all the same oils...coconut, palm, olive, shea butter, mango butter......I always double check all my recipes with a lye calcualtor...
Ive never cooked a batch, do I just put it in a crock pot on low or can I do it on the stove? Do I add anything..Ive never rebatched before...

well, put my last batch in my double boiler on low...there was sooooo much oil that was pooled on it so i put that all in too...so i didnt add liquid cause I figured with all the oil it would be fine...Do I have to add more fragrance again? or will it still be fragrant from the first batch?

I think it depends on your FO whether it stays fragrant or not. I've only rebatched once. I decided not to add more FO because I wasn't sure if the rebatch would be successful. It still remained fragrant but all the colorants mixed together and turned gray. Smells good but ugly.

Exactly correct. I even more strongly believe your mix wasn't emulsified. And you need to have all the stuff in when you cook it.

It went into Gel, yay!. So I put it in the mold and now keeping fingers crossed..I didnt end up adding anymore fragrance..Hopefully it will still be fragrant enough. Its a goats milk soap with frosted pumpkin scent! I really really hope it works this time...
