Help identifying these substances...

Hello there. Does anyone know what these things are? They are kinda waxy and oily. No smell really, but does smell a little like maybe palm oil. My mom had them in her soap making supplies, but they could be from my aunt, who made lotions... thank you in advance

The flatter looking flakes look like Palm Kernel Oil flakes. Not sure about the other stuff. If you can’t find out for sure what they are I wouldnt do anything with it.

Or an emulsifier or thickener such as BTMS or cetyl alcohol.

I agree with Deanna that the oval one looks like cetyl alcohol and the flake one looks like some other emulsifier...but couldn't tell you which one.
