Hi there!

I found this forum browsing. I am a pt SAHM to my 8 month old daughter.
We live on a 27 acre farm and have been looking for something for me to do to earn us a bit of extra money but also just give me something else to do while at home raising our baby. Soap making has grabbed my interest as well as making/selling lanolin/lanolin based products as we have a couple sheep and ability to get more. Looking forward to reading lots here

I am in similar situation. On the farm raising two toddlers. goats instead of sheep, tho. lookin to make extra cash from my soap (still have long way to go)
I adore lanolin! its like miracle cream. ive only ever had store bought. this maybe dumb question, what part of the sheep does it come from/how is it processed?
i am famliar with rendering lard is it similar?
