Hello there and a question

Hello everyone. I absolutely love this forum. I just discovered it today and everyone seems so nice and well informed. I am a soap maker (duh, that's why I'm here) and I was looking for information about the usage of palm oil and palm kernel oil in shampoo bars. I'm getting ready to make my first batch of shampoo bars and am trying to formulate my recipe. Could you please share with me your general opinions and helpful information? Thank you so much and I look forward to having lots of fun on this forum.

Its regularly discussed that topic.
Some love them some hate them. My hair disagrees with them completely. I can use solid shampoo (syndet) just not shampoo soap.

You're going to have to read a lot of topics to find info. After you typed "shampoo" into the search box, did you click the "Forum" box from "All available" to show "CP Soap Forum"? Although this may not help because there has been so many discussions. The topic shown may not even mention shampoo. You're going to have to look through them. On the bright side, at least the word shampoo will be highlighted in orange so that should help you skim through some of it.

Try putting in syndet. This is short for synthetic detergent bar. Its a word often used when discussing shampoo bars.
I searched & didn't get much of a hit with the search engine either.
