Hello,

My name is Shawn. I love handmade soap! I've been trying to learn how to successfully make CP soap for
quite a while now. I even have some really great wood forms that I purchased several years ago.
I always had trouble with the calculations though so my soap turned to be beautiful, but was hard on the skin...
I'm hear to give it another go. I have most of the supplies. I just need a few good starter recipes.

Hopefully I will be on my way to creating amazing soap soon!

Hello fellow Canadian! Welcome aboard. When you are wanting to create a recipe I really recommend using soapcalc.net to run your soap through their lye calculator. There are also lots of recipes posted in the recipe section and another great site is millersoap.com...

Welcome to the forum! By hard on the skin, do you mean it's harsh or it's drying? We can help you tweak your recipe if you want to post it in the CP section.
