Hi! I am new to soap making and this forum :] and also in Western Washington. Would love to know if there is a get-together, if it is open to a novice. I'm up in Bellingham but can come down south.If you have a get together, I want in if you can schedule it for a time when I fly from Boston to visit my mom in Woodinville. On a previous visit I met @MomInWA. @akseattle and I exchanged notes to meet up when I’m out there next. If there are even more SMF members who could meet, that would be fabulous!
Edit to add: I think I’ll be in WA April 2-8. Waiting on confirmation.

I will be in Woodinville visiting my Mother. This is so exciting that @Vicki C will be there, too! East meets West.
I leave on the 9th, so that day is out for me, @akseattle. I’m pumped and makin’ soap!

You all should make a plan - I’m visiting my daughter and family and could try to make it to a get together, but my family time is very precious, I don’t get to see them much. I just thought it was funny that I will happen to be in Snohomish at the same time.

Yes, but where in Snohomish? I will be near Cottage Lake west of Woodinville. MomInWA keeps her horse near there. For myself, I will be most comfortable if I can drive somewhere in Snohomish since I’m familiar with only a few of the local roads. No need to discuss my age being a factor.

I am smack in the heart of Seattle, by Greenlake. So, I would be comfortable going in any direction to meet up.
And I am smack in the middle of Bellevue/Redmond so I would also be comfortable going in any direction to meet up. And I drive a lot anyways. I'm also retired - still busy - but have a bit of flexibility.

We go for walks at Lords Hill, a local conservation area.
I’m happiest on the east side, and Snohomish near Lords Hill is super! Hopefully that works for everyone.
