Hi everyone!

My name is Marie Heier and I’m thrilled to be a part of this amazing soapmaking community. I’m from Jersey and have always been fascinated by the art and creativity that goes into crafting handmade soaps.

I’m fairly new to soapmaking but I’ve been experimenting with different techniques and ingredients over the past few months. My favorite part of the process is blending essential oils to create unique scents I love how therapeutic and rewarding it feels!

I joined this forum to learn from experienced soapmakers, share ideas and hopefully contribute to the community as I grow in my soapmaking journey. If you have any beginner tips or must try recipes, I’d love to hear them!

Looking forward to connecting with all of you and diving deeper into this wonderful craft.

Welcome Marie, my beginner tip is go to the beginners forum, start reading and take lots of notes, plenty of recipes throughout smf, just decide what type of soap you'd like to make. Have a look in the Photo Gallery and look at the challenge soaps that have been made.
