I was a geek for 34 years in a large corporation (systems and process automation architectures). I retired in 2007. Even though I enjoyed my job, I only missed work for about a microsecond. My job now is to bug DW Billie all day long. Billie became involved with candle making several years ago, then evolved to soaps, lotions, and sprays. Since retirement, I have become as excited as she is, and love it. We provide for family, close friends, and ourselves, but it has proven to be an expensive hobby. We have made all of our own log, slab, and round PVC molds, but have purchased several form molds as well. We just can't seem to stop making new batches and trying new FO's. Yes, we are addicted.
We also got ourselves a retirement toy, the boat, so during the summer we have two addictions.
