Hello from Hershey

Hi everyone! My name is Robin and actually, I am right outside of Hershey. I am situated about 20 minutes from Lancaster, Harrisburg and Hershey. I am married and have 17 year old daughter who is a dream to parent. I recently bought a bar of homemade soap at an herb store and thought "hey, I think I could make that." I love to do all kinds of crafts along with growing flowers, veggies and a ton of herbs in the summer. This is probably one of the few craft my daughter and I haven't tried yet. Unfortunately she isn't interested in this one but my husband is excited for me to try it. I have many questions before I start though so get ready to be pested! I am one of those people who don't just need to know the answer but also why. Please don't think I don't belive an answer if I ask why, my brain just needs to understand why something is the way it is for me to remember. If that makes any sense! So anyway thanks for letting me butt in. I'm sure I'll have as much fun as you all seem to have making soap. Robin

i have spent many a pleasant hour going thru our archives in our different forums.

if you have a particular interest we have a great "search" located at the top right, then add a keyword, and it will finds all the threads on the subject.

we also have a great forum here with lots of creative and supportive soapers here. it's kind of learn as you go.

Hello!

When I was a teenager, we lived in Baltimore, and I made several trips to Hershey. That is such a pretty area!

Later in life, the company I worked for sent me to Harrisburg a couple times. Pretty close to you!

Anyhow...thought I would join in and say hello too (from a newbie member).
