Hi everyone!
I'm a gal from Finland interested in soap making. I had my first go at making my own soap about two years ago and I've been hooked since. Because I only make soap for family and friends (the legislation here is really strict, all cosmetic products must be approved before you can sell or even gift them and this costs money..) I don't make soap that often, but I love planning and thinking about what my next batch will be like.
The main reason that got me interested in making soap is my sensitive skin, it dries out really fast from regular store bought sope so making my own moisturizing soap has helped a lot. Now that I've convinced my boyfriend to start using the soaps I make I have to kick it up a notch, I myself use about a bar of soap every two months, he uses a bar every two weeks. I don't know if I'm the dirty one or he's the unnaturally clean one. :shifty:
My goal is to keep it simple. I like natural colorants, like to play with oil infusions and make mostly odorless soaps.
