Hey,

I am new to the soap thing and stumbled upon this forum through a google search. It all started with a book ("The everything soap making book" by Alicia Grosso") , I saw it on the shelves and decided to check it out. Ever since I have been trolling the internet for pictures of hand made soap.

Slowly I have been accumulating the necessary equipment to create my first batch. This weekend I will be trying my hand at the fine art of soap making. I found everyone here to be very friendly and knowledgeable so far and would like to join this community.

I have that book too! Another good one is Smart Soapmaking by Anne Watson. Quick read and VERY informative and practical.
