Hello Everyone! I have been a lurker for a couple of months and decided it was time to pop in and introduce myself. Originally from Washington State, I now live in Arizona and am finally retired! YAY - it took me long enough.
I started making soap early this summer. First Melt and Pour, then Hot Process, and now Cold Process. I suppose I have been lucky since after crafting a over 20 batches, my only failure was a Bastille soap done via HP. It was too soft to my liking so I rebatched.
The first HP soap I made used over $30 in essential oils. Ouch! I need to dial that down a bit, and have started using some FOs I purchased as a sampler from Brambleberry.
Anyway, I soap as a hobby and give it all away. Thanks to all of you for the valuable tips and tricks!!
